How To Vape Properly

How to vape properly

The first vaping experience of new vapers is typically disappointing. Because they are accustomed to smoking cigarettes, people approach vaping in the same way they do regular cigarettes. Vaping does necessitate some knowledge and talent, but it isn't rocket science! Here are some helpful hints to get you started.

Choosing the right vape

If you're new to vaping, the first thing you should learn is how to utilise your device. It's best to start with a simple device when you first start vaping; these devices are created with ease of use, cost, efficiency, and portability in mind. There are many well-made and reasonably priced starter devices on the market that will make getting started easy while also giving a great vaping experience. You'll probably want to go with a disposable or pod system, both of which are great options because they require little to no upkeep.

Choosing your e-liquid

Finding the right e-liquid for you can take a long time and a lot of trial and error. After all, each person is distinct. The VG/PG ratio, nicotine level, and, of course, flavour can all be adjusted. Higher VG e-liquids are designed for consumers who love large clouds of vapour, while stronger PG e-liquids give a higher nicotine dose and a more powerful flavour. Once you've found the appropriate flavour or flavours for you, your vaping experience will be dramatically improved.

How to hit a vape

Taking too short drags is one of the most common blunders ex-smokers make when it comes to vaping. This method works well with regular cigarettes, but it does not work well with vaping since the e-liquid does not have enough time to flow through the coil and vaporise. For a more pleasurable vape, we recommend taking longer and slower drags (pulls).

When it comes to inhaling, there are two (2) methods to choose from:

  1. Mouth to Lung (MTL) - This style of inhaling is more similar to that of smoking a cigarette. It is suitable for smaller devices with higher nicotine. You will draw vapour into your mouth, hold it there for a couple of seconds and then breathe it into your lungs. Then, once the vapour has entered your lungs you exhale. This style is perfect for people that are vaping to stop smoking.
  2. Direct to Lung (DTL) - This style gives a much smoother hit and is used with bigger more powerful vape kits. It is a much simpler style of inhaling as you inhale the vapour quickly and directly into your lungs and then exhale straight away.

Allowing your coil to cool for a few minutes between vapes is also a good idea. Chain vaping (taking a lot of shots in a short amount of time) might reduce the coil's life and irritate the throat.
